Learn the basics of photography with this introductory course for photography.
This course is not designed to teach you your specific camera. It’s designed to teach the basic functions of cameras so no matter what camera you pick up you’ll know exactly what to do. Gone are the days of guessing about a shot or just getting lucky. Once you know how the basics you will be able to get the shots you want every time, the first time!
The course is just 10 lessons but these lessons will give you a solid foundation in photography to elevate your photography skill level or serve as a refresher for those that have been doing this for a while.
One thing that separates this course from other is that you will have quizzes and assignments. You won’t be able to proceed to the next lesson until you’ve passed the lesson quiz. Assignments are optional. If you submit an assignment you will be given personal feedback for the images that you submit from your’s truly! Where else can you go to get this valuable feedback for such a low price!
I designed this course so that it’s easy to understand without having to know or memorize a bunch of math and technical terms. I teach principles using a lot of examples that you find in everyday life to relate to the way photography works. Over the many years that I have taught classes, I have found this method to be the most effective when learning photography. If you can understand a principle then you can understand photography! Anyone can learn this!
What this course will not teach you
This course will not teach you about advanced features on your camera. This course is again, all about the basics. If you understand the basics by the time you’re done with this course you should be able to pick up any camera make and model and be able to use it with no problems because all cameras have the same basic functions! We will have more courses concerning other advanced topics in photography.
